The Artistic heritage needs to be ENHANCED through research that improves knowledge, PRESERVED through maintenance and ORGANISED. More and more, science is helping the art world, both in terms of in-depth research aimed at new discoveries, and in terms of maintenance, cataloguing and the standardisation of the public art heritage.
After years of experience by collaborating with professionals from the art world, scientists, and manufacturers of scientific instruments, we are capable of achieving these goals and of providing services that meet the needs of museums, local authorities, and research institutes.
WHAT DO WE OFFER
DIGITAL COLLECTION
The creation of a record about a work of art by using a historical-scientific technique. The familiar story of a work of art is linked to a snapshot of the actual state of the object with regard to the technique used and the state of preservation. A digital collection makes the efficient cataloguing and the immediate comparability between artworks possible as well as the possibility of a continuous monitoring of their state of preservation.
EXHIBITION SERVICE
The collaboration with companies in the technology sector supports the organization of exhibitions where both science and art meet, with interactive services for the visitor. The available interactive services are fully customisable and vary from the multispectral navigation of the work of art to the direct live analysis of artworks by the visitor by engaging scientific tools that work continuously.
RESEARCH PROJECTS
The participation in research projects, which bring together people from many different disciplines. We make our experiences in the field of cultural heritage available to develop techniques and instruments designed to offer as much as possible to art as a field of study.
