MULTISPECTRAL IMAGING DIAGNOSTICS
Provides easy-to-understand images, which show the interaction of materials
in a cultural asset by using different wavelengths, and provide information
on the state of preservation, historical events of a work of art,
and the technique used.
ANALYTICAL DIAGNOSTICS
Involves the microscopic optical, atomic, and molecular study of an artwork,
either directly on its surface or on collected micro-samples;
provides information on the technique used, the overall state of preservation,
composition of materials, their state of preservation, production method, and dating.
